Praise in the Park in Delavan Aug. 15
Delavan United Methodist Church will host Praise in the Park Aug. 15 at Phoenix Park Band Shell, 111 E. Wisconsin St., Delavan. Worship begins at 9 a.m. followed by a potluck brunch at 10:30 a.m.

The menu included ham sandwiches with condiments, baked beans, cereal and beverages. Place settings will be provided. Guests should bring their favorite breakfast/lunch dish to pass and their own lawn chairs.

A magician show for both children and adults will follow brunch.

Activities include a magician show, adult and children games and the Pie in the Face booth.

There will also be a salsa recipe contest, which is open to all. The entry fee is $5 donation for Praise in the Park. Winner of the contest will get one half of the entry donations. Preregistration is required prior to Aug. 15 by signup sheet in the church fellowship hall on Sundays or contacting the church.
