The City of Delavan Parks and Recreation Department invites all photographers 18 years and older to share their best original photos taken at any City of Delavan Parks and Recreation facility, event, sport, program or class.
The department is especially looking for high resolution photos that best represent the essence of fall in and around Delavan.
The grand prize winner's photo will be featured on the cover of our Fall Program Guide, and the winner will receive photo recognition and a plaque. Runners up will be considered for publication within the guide itself. The grand prize winner will be notified by Aug. 1.

Digital photos in jpeg format must be submitted either on a CD labeled with the photographer's name or e-mailed to Ozimek at recasst2@ci.delavan.wi.us. Each photo's file name must be labeled with the following format: lastname_firstname_01.jpg, lastname_firstname_02.jpg, and so on. A maximum of five photos can be submitted.
Within the e-mail, identify the park, recreation facility or other location where the photo was taken, describe the name of the event, sport, program, or class if applicable and type the year the photo was taken in a logical manner that matches each file name.
The photographer retains all rights to any photographs submitted including ownership if applicable. However, by entering the contest, the photographer grants the City of Delavan Parks and Recreation Department a nonexclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute, use in publications and associated trade magazines, publicly display and publicly perform the photographs submitted to the Delavan Parks and Recreation Department and the right to use the photographer's name, city, state and country of residence in promotions and other publications.
