On July 17, Delavan will join cities like Madison, Chicago, New York and Paris with a "taste-of" event.
From noon to 9 p.m., the Friends of Phoenix Park Bandshell will sponsor the first Taste of Delavan with fun, food and entertainment in Phoenix Park.
Food vendors will include Anchor Inn, Brick Street Market, Boy Scout Troop 328, China Garden, Delavan's Downtown Deli, Elks Lodge and Sno-Days.
The entertainment will include some popular encore performers and some Chicago talent.
Opening the lineup will be Mike Suess with his audience participation Peace Drum Circle. Returning from an engagement at Milwaukee's Summerfest is the voice of Krystal Cooke. Headlining in the evening will be the Mannequins, a long-time popular group from Chicago.
Also in the line-up is a Destination Imagination team performance, the Walworth County Cloggers, face painting, clowns and the Princess Castle Trampoline.
The music is free.
